Welcome Ticket Library.LK The following represent the guidelines or "Terms" that govern the utilisation of the Ticket Library.LK website ("www.ticketlibrary.lk"). By accessing or using the Site, you explicitly consent to abide by these Terms and adhere to them along with all applicable laws and regulations governing the Site. Ticket Library.LK and its legal entity, Ticket Library.LK (Private) Limited, retain the right to modify these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Kindly review this page of the Site periodically. If you breach these Terms of Use, Ticket Library.LK reserves the right to cease your access to the Site, prohibit you from future use, cancel your ticket order, and/or pursue suitable legal action against you.

SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CUSTOMERS

Our objective is to offer you a straightforward and expeditious method of purchasing tickets or registering for an event online. Thus, anyone who purchases tickets or registers for an event via Ticket Library.LK acknowledges and agrees to the following terms with Ticket Library.LK (Private) Limited, the legal entity behind Ticket Library.LK ,and all associated intellectual property.

DEFINITIONS:
  • "Ticket Library.LK" shall refer to Ticket Library.LK (Private) Limited, with its registered office situated at 93/K/1/A,Kumbuka South, Gonapola,Sri Lanka.

  • "Website" shall refer to the online sales platform www.ticketlibrary.lk or any other electronic websites or domains provided by Ticket Library.LK for ticket sales. This encompasses all webpages, subdomains, and subdivisions contained within, accessible via personal computers, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, or any other devices capable of accessing the information available at present or in the future.

  • "Customer" shall denote any individual or entity utilising the Website to purchase or attempt to purchase goods or services, including but not limited to tickets, delegate passes, vouchers, or similar products or services.

  • "Organiser" shall refer to any individual, partnership, or entity, whether privately or publicly owned, responsible for organising, promoting, and executing any event, service, or offering available for sale or free of charge to Customers through the Website.

  • "Event" shall indicate any gathering, regardless of its nature, covering entertainment, education, business, sports, family, religious, or other categories, where the Organiser aims to promote, advertise, and sell tickets, passes, vouchers, or similar services to Customers via the Website as a facilitating service for event promotion.

  • "Ticket" shall encompass any form of paid or complimentary entrance voucher or method used to monitor and regulate entry, whether physical (e.g., printed ticket, voucher, pass, wristband) or electronic (e.g., unique barcode, QR code, reference number), identifying the holder as having obtained permission to access a specific Event.

  • "Services" shall represent the offerings provided by Ticket Library.LK to the Organiser concerning the Event. These include, but are not limited to, advertising and promoting the Event on the Website; providing an online portal for Customers to purchase Tickets; delivering Tickets to Customers electronically or physically as per the agreement between the Organiser and Ticket Library.LK; processing payments for Tickets on behalf of the Organiser; registering Customer information; and any other services agreed upon in writing between the parties.

TICKET PURCHASE POLICY:
  • Tickets acquired on the Website are generally non-refundable, except as outlined in the Refunds Policy.

  • Ticket exchanges are typically not permitted, except as outlined in the Refunds Policy.

  • Tickets cannot be transferred to third parties, except to immediate family members or friends of the Customer, and solely for personal use, never exceeding the original purchase price. Tickets are intended for use by the purchaser or their designated family or friends and cannot be resold for profit. If Ticket Library.LK becomes aware of Tickets being resold for commercial gain at prices exceeding the original purchase price, such Tickets will be voided without refund, and entry will be denied.

  • Customers are cautioned against purchasing Ticket Library.LK -branded Tickets from secondary ticketing websites or online selling platforms like eBay, as these Tickets may be invalid for entry or subject to cancellation by Ticket Library.LK

  • Ticket Library.LK may request proof of original purchase from Customers at the Event entrance, such as a valid photo ID (e.g., passport, driver’s licence, national ID card) or the original credit/debit card used for purchase. If multiple tickets are purchased for the same event, all members of the attending party should enter together with the Customer.

  • Customers are responsible for safeguarding their Tickets against loss or theft. Ticket Library.LK is not liable for replacing lost or stolen Tickets and does not offer refunds for such cases, including electronically issued Tickets. In the event of unauthorised use of an electronic Ticket (e.g., via hacked email or delivery to a shared email address), resulting in the Ticket being scanned before the Customer's arrival at the Event, entry will be denied, and no refund will be provided. Customers are advised to protect electronic Tickets as they would physical printed Tickets.

  • Payment for Tickets is typically made in full at the time of purchase, and Tickets are delivered to Customers via email shortly thereafter. In cases of fraudulent payment using a lost/stolen credit/debit card or without the card owner's consent, Ticket Library.LK reserves the right to cancel such Tickets without refund to the fraudulent purchaser.

TICKET USAGE POLICY AND EVENT ATTENDANCE:
  • It is the Customer's responsibility to verify any entry restrictions for the Event, such as age or dress code requirements, before purchasing a Ticket from the Website. Ticket Library.LK shall not be held liable nor provide refunds if entry is denied by the Organiser for reasons including but not limited to failure to meet dress code standards, age restrictions, or engaging in dangerous, disruptive, unruly, or unlawful behaviour resulting in entry denial by the Organiser or venue management.

  • All Tickets are subject to the Rules and Regulations of both the venue and the Event. Customers are obligated to adhere to these Rules and Regulations and acquaint themselves with them before purchasing a Ticket.

  • The Organiser and venue management reserve the right of entry and to conduct security searches at any time for safety and security purposes.

  • Customers ejected from an Event by the Organiser, its agents, or venue management are not entitled to refunds under any circumstances.

  • Many venues enforce a strict "no re-entry" policy, meaning Customers leaving the venue during the Event may not be readmitted using their original Ticket. Customers are responsible for understanding the re-entry policy before entry. No refunds will be issued if re-entry is denied due to the venue's policy.

  • The venue or Organiser may prohibit certain items from being brought into the Event, including but not limited to food, beverages, cameras, recording equipment, seating, selfie sticks, or items deemed unlawful, hazardous, dangerous, or potential weapons. Ticket Library.LK shall not be liable nor provide refunds if entry is denied or a Customer is ejected for attempting to bring restricted items into the venue. Additionally, Ticket Library.LK) assumes no responsibility or liability for confiscated items.

  • Ticket Library.LK, venue management, and the Organiser bear no responsibility or liability for lost or stolen items or incurred injuries at the Event.

  • Customers are responsible for attending the Event on the correct date and time. Ticket Library.LK assumes no responsibility or liability for any losses incurred due to Customer failure to verify the Event date and time before travel. In case of cancellation or postponement, Ticket Library.LK may offer refunds as per the Refunds Policy.

  • Failure to attend an Event for any reason is not grounds for a refund.

  • Customers must arrive on time for the Event as latecomers may be refused entry. No refunds will be issued to latecomers.

  • Many Events have a "last admission" time, preceding the Event's end time. Customers should confirm the last admission time to avoid refusal of entry. Ticket Library.LK will not issue refunds if entry is refused due to late arrival after the last admission time.

  • Unauthorised use of photographic and recording equipment may be prohibited at most venues. Customers should confirm with the Organiser and venue before the Event.

  • By purchasing a Ticket through Ticket Library.LK,Customers consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by the Organiser, venue management, or third parties representing them at the Event or its vicinity. Customers hereby waive all rights to such recordings and agree that the Organiser, venue management, or third parties may use them without restriction, approval, or compensation.

REFUNDS POLICY:
  • Ticket Library.LK facilitates the sale of Tickets on behalf of Organisers responsible for Event organisation and management.

  • Once purchased, Tickets are generally non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable, except under specific circumstances outlined below.

  • Customers are responsible for checking entry restrictions, such as age or dress code requirements, before purchasing Tickets from the Website. Ticket Library.LK will not refund Ticket purchases if entry is denied by the Organiser for reasons including failure to comply with dress code or age restrictions, or for engaging in disruptive or unlawful behaviour.

  • The Organiser and venue management reserve the right to refuse admission without cause or reason. Ticket Library.LK does not offer refunds to Customers denied entry or ejected from the Event.

  • Customers may apply for a refund in writing to Ticket Library.LK within 30 days after the Event or, in the case of cancelled or postponed Events, within 30 days of the announcement of cancellation or postponement, under the following circumstances only:

    • Event cancellation.
    • Cancellation by the main Artist.
    • Main Artist's inability to perform.
    • Rescheduling of the main Artist's performance.
    • Significant change in Event start or end time (by at least five hours from the original published time).
    • Event postponement.
    • Significant change in venue location (at least 20km away from the original venue or significantly lower quality).

  • Refund applications are considered based solely on the above circumstances and may require specific documentation or evidence.

  • If a refund request is approved at Ticket Library.LK's discretion, the refund will be issued using the original payment method. For credit/debit card payments, refunds will be credited to the same card used for the original purchase.

  • Ticket Library.LK reserves the right to retain up to 5% of the original purchase value to cover administration and bank charges associated with processing the refund.

  • Minor changes in performance times or durations, changes to supporting artists, performance quality, technical issues, or Customer satisfaction are not considered justifiable reasons for refunds.

  • Abandonment of an Event due to reasons beyond the Organiser's control, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or governmental actions, will not warrant refunds.

  • The Refunds Policy may vary based on the Event type and/or specific Organiser terms and conditions.

LIABILITY:
  • Ticket Library.LK shall not be held responsible or liable for any issues, damages, or physical injuries arising from the Event for which the customer purchased Tickets.
